for Providers

The Day Care Council of New York (DCCNY) offers its members a set of vital services, helping them provide families with the highest quality of child care in a safe setting and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. DCCNY connects thousands of families with its member centers each year, provides training for child care staff and management, and conducts advocacy on behalf of all of its members at the city, state and local levels of government.

The Early Childhood Education Training Institute is one of our core member services, targeting professionals throughout the early childhood education field. Trainings are held for child care center staff and directors, family and group family providers, potential providers, legally exempt providers, and school age staff and directors. Most of the council's training opportunities are open to anyone in the field of early childhood education, parents and prospective child care providers.
