As part of its core services to the child care community, the Day Care Council of New York has the Early Childhood Development Institute. We offer training opportunities for a variety of interests in the early care and education field: child care center staff and directors, family and group family providers, potential providers, legally exempt providers, and school age staff and directors. Most of the Council’s training opportunities are open to any one in the field of early care and education, parent or prospective childcare provider.

The Early Childhood Development Institute focuses on the Professional development of child care providers by offering training based the standards necessary to obtain licensure based requirements by New York City and New York State.
