How to Become a DCCNY Member

Membership is open to child care centers.  We are working on a home-based child care membership package.  If you are interested in membership please call 212-206-7818 x 2123 or email membership@dccnyinc.org.  Check out the member benefits in this section and the services provided to centers in the “Educators” section to get more of an idea of the work we do.

The steps involved are:

  1. Fill out the membership application and return to the  Day Care Council of New York (call 212-206-7818 x 2123 or email membership@dccnyinc.org for application).
  2. After review, a site visit will be scheduled.
  3. Applicants will then be recommended to the DCCNY Board of Directors
  4. Upon approval a new member orientation will be scheduled.
  5. Applications are gathered quarterly, with those received at the beginning of the period given priority. The periods are July 1 – September 30 (July prioritized for period); October 1 – December 30 (October prioritized for period; January 1 to March 31 (January prioritized for period); April 1 – June 30 (April prioritized for period).  Please submit your applications as early as possible.
